Cricket
Mayor Eric Adams recently released a proposal to build a 34,000 seat temporary cricket stadium on the Parade Ground in Van Cortlandt Park. The stadium will be for the 2024 World Cup to be held by the International Cricket Council (ICC). This proposal will have a huge impact on the park itself, and on our access to the park. It is very important that we have all of the information available so that we know how to protect our precious park from any initiatives that may harm it.
