Homebound

This past year or so, we have been very focused on food justice and collecting food for those who need it. This week, we have the opportunity to think about providing other items that are essential to daily living.

The Riverdale Y is collecting the following items to make packages to deliver to those who are homebound due to age or medical reasons. You can bring your donations to the Riverdale Y Sunday Market this week, 2/20, or to the Riverdale Y until Tuesday, 2/22.

Please donate unopened items from the list below. Food and clothes will not be accepted as part of this drive. As usual, you can still drop off clothing and accessories in the Green Tree Recycling bins at the Sunday Market, or donate fresh food to the Friendly Fridge, also at the market, separately from this initiative. Absolutely no canned or boxed goods will be accepted at either location at this time.

We need:

Paper towels
Kleenex (any brand)
Soap (bar & liquid)
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Shampoo/conditioner
Dish washing liquid
Dish sponges
Laundry detergent
