The WEDNESDAY class will help to integrate children and their families into the Tehillah Hebrew School community with a group geared to their age. Stories, songs, and crafts will help our youngest learners start on their paths to Jewish learning. Students and their families will be engaged and included in all Hebrew School family events, including Sukkot, Chanukah, and a community Seder.

The FRIDAY “Shabbat Minions” class is geared more specifically to Shabbat with Shabbat stories, and Shabbat-related crafts and activities. Previous projects have included the creation of challah covers to bring home and baking delicious challah to enjoy together at Kiddush/Oneg Shabbat.

SHABBAT MINIONS CLASS
First Friday of the Month |  5:00 to 6:00  |  RYSEC.   We are very excited to introduce our new program for children in K-2. This fall, Tehillah will offer our children in Kindergarten through 2nd grade a wonderful pathway into their formal Jewish education.  Students will attend a monthly Hebrew School class on the 1st Wednesday of each month from Sept - May, and will also attend and participate in the Shabbat Minions class on the 3rd Friday erev/Shabbat of each month.

GRADES 3–8
Wednesday Class  |  3:45  |  RYSEC.  The Tehillah Hebrew School provides students in Grades 3 to 8 with a foundation Jewish religion, history, and culture, as well as the Hebrew language. This is achieved through class discussions, texts, art and writing projects, and community service. Projects extend into our garden, where we undertake seasonal plantings and decorate with our artwork. The school emphasizes a commitment to community and to understanding different backgrounds. Classes meet on Wednesdays from September through May.

GRADES 7-8
Wednesday Class  |  6:15  |  Rabbi's study.  Our students enroll in a Chevre class with Rabbi Linda while preparing to become a Bar/Bat Mitzvah.
