Mental Health
Resources
May 10 to May 16 is Mental Health Awareness Week. During the pandemic, millions of people have experienced and continue to struggle with mental health problems related to COVID-19. Increased levels of depression have been associated with fear and isolation, while other problems are related directly to symptoms of the coronavirus. For those of us already living with mental illness and/or addiction, the pandemic has only exacerbated our struggles.
What actions are we asking you to take this week? If you need help, get help. If you see someone who needs help, say something. Increase your own awareness of mental health by educating yourself on resources available in your area and thinking about how the pandemic has affected you personally.
Remember -- we at Tehillah are here for you in these stressful days. Lean on us!
