North Bronx Coalition for Refugees

The Northwest Bronx Coalition for Refugees is preparing to welcome its first family from Afghanistan. Along with our concern with those in need as they flee the Ukraine, it is important to remember those who have reached our shores ready to begin living their lives anew.

We are pleased to let you know that our local coalition, made up of so many different quadrants of our community has just about reached its first fundraising goal. The donations range in size and a few more hands and hearts are needed to raise the remaining $3,000. 

 We will keep you posted as the work continues and we are grateful to all of you who have contributed thus far.
