PARASHAT TOLDOT
Genesis 25:19 - 28:9

Dear Friends,

We live in a world where expressing gratitude is not an automatic response when someone is kind or caring toward us.

I invite all of us to take the Thanksgiving holiday as an opportunity to think about the ways in which we express gratitude to those around us. To those who are closest to us and those with whom we have fleeting interactions.

As some of you may know, I was at a retreat last week with my colleagues; the theme was building community. I look forward to sharing some of the texts I studied, but more than that, I want to express my gratitude to all of you on this Thanksgiving for being a kind and caring community.

Thank you for being part of our caring community.  Click HERE for a dvar on this week's Torah portion written by Rabbi Lisa Grushcow. I hope you appreciate it as much as I did.

Happy Thanksgiving and Shabbat Shalom.

Rabbi Linda Shriner-Cahn
