Ukraine IV
What we do to help those in the midst of the humanitarian crisis in Ukraine matters. Our donations go a long way in providing some relief and support for those who are in the process of finding ways to continue forward as they flee for their lives. Money is always best. However, we all know that sending tangible goods creates a connection between us and the recipient.
With that in mind, here is another way to help this week. HIR (the Bayit), Jewish Community Relations (JCRC), Council of the Peoples Organization (COPO), and others are working together to collect relief items for the Ukraine.
They are accepting the following:
- Baby diapers
- Baby wipes
- Adult diapers
- First aid kits
- Personal Hygiene Kits (soap • toothbrush • toothpaste)
- Dental floss
- Deodorant
- Shampoo
- Razor
- Shaving cream
- Feminine hygiene products
- Medical supplies
All supplies must be new and unopened. Items should be dropped off in the bins at the bottom of the HIR driveway, Mon-Thu, 9am-5pm and Fri 9am-1pm. These relief items can also be dropped off at the COPO's offices at 1077 Coney Island Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11230.
