Women's History Month

Israel is on mind and in my heart this week. With that in mind, I invite you to be a listening ear to those you know who live there and are subject to the current stressful situation. Whether by text, email or phone, they may be uncomfortable voicing their feelings to those near them and you may be able to provide a safe space.

Seemingly small actions can make a difference. What we have learned over the last three years is that we feel better when we know those out there are concerned about us.

In terms of organizations to support, you know where you stand and where support is needed. If you don’t I am more than happy to give you a few options.

But the mitzvah that I invite us to take part in this week is to reach out -- not for a political conversation, unless that’s where they lead you, but rather to find out how those you know are coping with yet another stressful situation, coming as it does after the lockdown three years ago.

We are still celebrating National Women’s Month. Here is an additional resource for you to enjoy and listen to. Thank you to Jennifer Firestone for giving us the link!
