Yom Hashoah

As we commemorate Yom Hashoah, you are invited to share a family story with someone you know or maybe someone you don’t. Yom Hashoah is all about memory and using memory as a tool to remain engaged in the world. When we share a story, we never know how it will impact the listener or the teller.  At Passover we are reminded to tell the story in every generation. Our perspective on the story may change depending on where we are and where the world is, however, the telling is the first step to connecting us with others. After all of this time of being isolated by Covid, that connection has the capacity to reinvigorate us and connect us to one another more firmly.
